I am still and optimist. Yet history shows and science verifies that humans have problems with governance.
The climate change debate is a serious issue and similar to the atomic proliferation with potential catastrophic consequences: The question is, will we as a species survive?
Most likely not. Due to simply the lack of agreement on the simplest issues. The proof is in history. The power with the most intensive destruction capability wins. Always.
Increasingly the government in authority whether dictator or Representative allows the key decision to be made by those interests which desire to promote their own agenda. Simply put many years ago. The Golden Rule: Those who have the gold, RULE.
The United States and other industrialized nations are a perfect example. The govt. of the people is rule by lobbyists who literally pay for their "agenda" to be voted the way their business desires need.
Yes it is sad.
Now. How long do we have till the disease and possible anarchy moves from Africa to Europe and the Americas.
